1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using WeAreVirtuo's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Services

WeAreVirtuo provides web design, development, and related digital services. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Custom website design and development
  • Website maintenance and support
  • Hosting services
  • Consulting and strategy

3. Project Process

3.1 Intake & Discovery

Projects begin with a discovery call and intake questionnaire. The information you provide helps us understand your requirements and deliver the best results.

3.2 Timeline

Project timelines are estimates based on the selected package (7-Day Express or 30-Day Standard). Actual delivery times may vary based on:

  • Timely provision of required materials (content, images, feedback)
  • Scope of revisions requested
  • Complexity of custom features

3.3 Revisions

Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds. Additional revisions beyond the included amount may incur extra charges.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change, but confirmed project quotes remain valid for 30 days.

4.2 Payment Schedule

Payment terms vary by project size. Typically:

  • 7-Day Express: 100% due before project start
  • 30-Day Standard: 50% deposit, 50% on completion
  • Custom Projects: As agreed in the project proposal

4.3 Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our work, deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. If you need to cancel a project, please contact us as soon as possible.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide (text, images, logos, etc.). You grant us permission to use this content solely for delivering your project.

5.2 Deliverables

Upon full payment, you receive full ownership of all custom code and design work created for your project. You may use, modify, and distribute the deliverables as you see fit.

5.3 Third-Party Assets

Some projects may include third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) that have their own licenses. We will inform you of any such requirements.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure project success, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Supply required materials in a timely manner
  • Provide feedback within agreed timeframes
  • Make payments according to the agreed schedule
  • Ensure you have rights to all content provided

7. Limitation of Liability

WeAreVirtuo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

8. Hosting & Maintenance

Optional hosting and maintenance services are provided on a month-to-month basis and can be cancelled with 30 days notice. We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

9. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential and will not share your business information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. In case of termination:

  • You will be billed for work completed to date
  • Completed deliverables will be transferred upon payment
  • Deposits are non-refundable for work already performed

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
